Physician Associates

Physician Associates are medically trained, general healthcare professionals who work alongside our doctors and provide medical care as part of our multidisciplinary team. They have a dedicated clinical supervisor who is available always should they need support or clinical advice.

Pharmacy Team

Our in-house Pharmacy team are highly trained Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians who will look after all aspects of medications, including annual medication reviews, high risk medication monitoring and reconciling hospital/clinic medication changes as well as general medication queries.

Community Navigator

We understand that not everything can be fixed by medicine and many other factors influence a person’s sense of wellbeing; we have a community navigator that may help patients find the appropriate support to help them regain control and take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.

Mental Health Practitioners (MHP’s)

Mental Health Practitioners (MHP’s) are employed directly by the practice to consult on behalf of the GP’s, offering assessment, treatment, advice, and a signposting service to patients presenting with mental health needs. Generally, this means seeing patients over the age of 18 who can be booked directly into an appointment without the need for any referral.

Appointments can be face to face in the GP practice or remotely via a telephone consultation, in the form of routine appointments and some on the day appointments, like a GP.

MHPs within Primary Care do not provide counselling or psychological therapies but can signposted to relevant services.
