Find out about changes to NHS prescribing guidelines

The NHS spends around £136 million a year on prescriptions for medicines that can be bought from a pharmacy or supermarket, such as paracetamol.

Now NHS guidelines have been brought in to stop the prescribing of medicine which can be bought over the counter.

Find out more from the Western Elms’ practice pharmacists at a talk at the surgery on Wednesday, November 7, at 7pm.

Reserve your place on the guest list by speaking to reception or emailing we.patientgroup@nhs.net

Refreshments will be available at this event organised by the Patient Participation Group.

The talk will be followed by the PPG annual general meeting.
